Baby Amelia {Minneapolis Newborn Photographer}

It seems like just yesterday I was shooting Emmitt’s one year photos (above) and now he is welcoming a new baby sister into the family!  Beautiful little Amelia was as sweet and as could be and slept so soundly through our session. Her mom and I were able to have lots of fun dressing her up in pretty hats and headbands. Emmitt is such a loving big brother and I'm so happy to be able to capture this special time for this family!

I've had such cute newborns to photograph this spring and their baby announcements and mini-albums have turned out so beautifully, I just had to share some of them!  The mini-albums are included with all newborn sessions and are great way to carry your photos with you in your purse, or give as a gift to family members. Baby Chloe | Minneapolis St. Paul Newborn Baby Photography

Just in time for the cold weather, I finally have my home studio set up and am ready for indoor sessions this winter! I have lots of pretty new backdrops that I'm excited to share with you over the next few months.
For my first session, I was so lucky to have a sweet new baby to photograph. Meet Baby Chloe! Chloe surprised everyone by arriving well before her expected due date. (I think she just wanted to be sure to arrive before Halloween so she didn't miss out on the fun!)  Chloe is just about a month old here and was so sweet and full of sleepy smiles.

Meet Baby William | Minneapolis Newborn Photography

This little man was just the sweetest baby for his first portrait session. William was named after his grandpa who is a pilot, and his mom had the cutest little aviator hat for him to wear. It was such a nice fall day that we were able to sneak outside for a few outdoor shots too. Welcome Baby William!

Scott, Sally, Miles and Leo welcome the newest member of their family into the world. Meet Baby Eddie! They are now a gorgeous family of five...and Scott and Sally are officially outnumbered. :)

Lovely Little Lydia | Detroit Lakes Children's Photography

Lydia Jane. Such a perfect name for this little sweetheart. My grandma's name was Lydia and when I heard that I was going to get to photograph a new baby named Lydia, I was so excited!
We had a beautiful sunny spring day for our shoot this morning and Lydia was as adorable as could be. Can you tell we were having some fun with all the cute hats and headbands? And since it was the day after Easter, I just had to get a shot of her in the bunny ears. :)

Baby Caoimhe | St. Paul Newborn Photography

Baby Caoimhe was just 10 days old on the day of her first photoshoot. She loved to be wrapped up and held by her mom and especially loved my new baby cocoons. Mom and dad are so in love with her as you can see. Enjoy this little beauty...

Baby David | White Bear Lake Newborn Photography

Last week I got to try out a couple new baby props with this cute little guy. David was 10 days old and wide awake for his entire shoot - he didn't want to miss a thing!  I was amazed by how strong he was and already trying to hold his head up. One of his big brothers peeked in to see what we were up to so I was able to snap a couple shots of him too.  :)

Miss Madelyn was just 5 days old on the day of her first photoshoot and, as you can see, she was already showing her sense of style. Her mom and I had fun thinking up lots of fall themed settings for her. My favorite shot is the one of Madelyn surrounded by gourds - Wouldn't she make the cutest Thanksgiving centerpiece? :)
