Last Day of School Photo Idea {Photo Shoot Ideas, Minneapolis, MN}

My sweet girl has her last day of Kindergarten tomorrow and I wanted to take a few photos to remember the special day. I came across this idea on Pinterest and decided to give it a try. (For all the pinning I do on Pinterest, this is the first time I've actually tried one of the ideas!) First I pulled up a photo I'd taken last September on the first day of school and had Megan dress in the same outfit. It still fit, but the sleeves were noticeably shorter! Then I a snapped a photo of her holding an empty picture frame. Finally, in Photoshop I cropped the photo from the first day of school and edited it into the inside of the frame. Voila!

Stacy & Nate {Engagement Photos, Maple Grove, MN}

Stacy thought they were just going out to dinner, but Nate had something up his sleeve as they strolled through Arbor Lakes one special night. Their engagement happened at Arbor Park in Maple Grove and that's the very place we met up for engagement photos this spring. Stacy and Nate are clearly very much in love and it was wonderful to capture their excitement on this lovely afternoon. Congrats and best wishes, Stacy and Nate!

Mini Cards {Featured Product | Minneapolis St. Paul Photography}

I'm excited to add Mini Cards as one of my new products!  Mini Cards are about half the size of a standard business card and are a great way to share your photos. They have rounded corners and come in a sleek silver case. Card designs are fully customizable; I have several templates to choose from, or we can design one from scratch. The best part is that you have the option of a different image on the front of every card (same image on the back) so the possibilities are endless! These are fantastic for high school seniors to pass out to their friends, or for moms to use as playdate cards. Cute Kittens! {Pet Photography Minneapolis, MN}

Last week my daughter and I fostered a litter of kittens from the Humane Society. They were too small to be on the adoption floor, so we took care of them for about a week. As you can see, they are completely adorable! I couldn't resist doing a little photo shoot with them before we brought them back. It was no easy task to get them all to sit in this basket. What finally got their attention was me shaking a bell in the air while also making meowing sounds - they were either entertained or confused, I can't really tell by their expressions!  If you're looking for a pet, check out the Humane Society's adoptable animals here.

I've had such cute newborns to photograph this spring and their baby announcements and mini-albums have turned out so beautifully, I just had to share some of them!  The mini-albums are included with all newborn sessions and are great way to carry your photos with you in your purse, or give as a gift to family members.
